A recent government report estimates that 85% of the assets of UK businesses are in a digital format. When this is considered against data showing that the average business receives 80 cyber-attacks each year, one-third of which breach security, it is clear cyber security is crucial to anyone using internet-connected systems. Calderdale College students study all aspects of this vital area. Starting with the planning and setting up of robust networked systems, through ongoing maintenance and data security to incident management and recovery our courses equip students with the skills that are increasingly vital to protect our economy and national interests.
