Creative Challenge
Think you’re creative? Calderdale College are challenging you to create or capture an image which best represents what makes you happy. This could be anything from a sketch of your favourite landscape, a selfie with the people you love or a life-size model of your pet.
To enter, you can express yourself in any range of media as long as it can be submitted on Instagram or via email.
Who can enter
Students in years 7-11, from Calderdale, Kirklees, Bradford and surrounding areas.
How to enter
Share your creation on Instagram using #CCcreate and link to @calderdalecol or email a photograph of your creation to school.liaison@calderdale.ac.uk
including a brief description of how it symbolises what makes you happy.
Deadline
All entries must be submitted by Friday 31 May.
The competition winner will be featured on our website and be showcased at the Calderdale College End of Year Show.
Guidelines and Terms & Conditions
All entries must be posted on Instagram or sent via email. Please use #CCcreate and link to @calderdalecol to submit your entry on Instagram or email school.liaison@calderdale.ac.uk
You cannot submit more than one entry into the competition.
The winner will be chosen from our shortlisting panel which is made up of Art & Design tutors and students.
The image quality needs to be at least 300 DPI which is equivalent to a minimum mega pixel camera lens.
Deadline for entries is 12pm on Friday 31 May. The competition winner will be notified and invited to our End of Year Show at Dean Clough within two weeks of the competition deadline.
Please note that the images submitted can and may be used by Calderdale College and its partner websites, on social media and for marketing purposes.
Please make sure you have the permission of anyone who features in your photo/creation.
The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
