Our Partners
The opening of the DigiHub highlights our commitment to embedding the digital agenda at the heart of our study programmes, higher education and apprenticeship offers. Our DigiHub will provide excellent employment opportunities with over 102,000 people working across the digital sector in the Leeds City Region alone. It is a fantastic opportunity for our students to gain the digital and creative skills that will form the basis of the regional economy in the future.
At Calderdale College we are working with local employers to shape the curriculum, to ensure we are teaching the skills needed for current and future jobs. We also work in partnership with businesses to create high-value work experience opportunities for students in these sectors.
Core21
Core21 is a bespoke programme developed in partnership with Lloyds Banking Group which gives our students a competitive advantage that will enable them to thrive in the workplace.
Students studying certain Business courses will be enrolled onto the Core 21 programme and get the chance to undertake a variety of master classes in the following areas:
- Personal Branding
- Commercial Awareness
- Problem Solving
- Decision Making
This culminates in a Lloyds’ Assessment Centre where students experience “real life” group tasks, interviews and presentations.
At Calderdale College we aim to provide students with all the knowledge they need in law, marketing, leadership, finance, and team skills to ensure they have a successful career in business.
Covéa Scholarship Programme
The Covéa Scholarship Programme has been developed in partnership with Covéa Insurance and is an exciting opportunity for students studying Computing to work alongside industry professionals to develop both their vocational and employability skills.
